Mid Winter Cheer

Mid Winter Cheer

A mid winter Christmas party is a uniquely New Zealand tradition of days gone by – but Quantum Education Tauranga decided it was time this tradition came back. Friday the 13th July seemed the perfect day to throw out the winter blues and come together for a soiree of Christmas cheer, snow and all.

Centre Manager, Jenna Hill, fresh back from a 5-week break in the USA took the opportunity to celebrate her return with  the Christmas-themed event with a real wintery feel. Staff, students and their families got together to join her and the Tauranga team in a little holiday cheer.

A traditional Kiwi-Christmas is about eating and drinking, and a mid winter Christmas is no different. This mid winter party gave everyone the opportunity to overindulge on good food, sweet treats and receive presents without all the stress and expense of the real Christmas Day.

Jenna’s little eves worked late in to the night decorating the tree, and wrapping presents for all those that joined her to celebrate a little bit of Christmas in mid July. To top off a perfect day, the weather played its part and provided some snow for young and old to enjoy (with a little help of a snow machine!)

Events like these organised by each Quantum Education centre give students and staff the chance to come together and take stock of what they have achieved so far and celebrate those achievements together. For your opportunity to become part of the Quantum Education family visit www.qegroup.co.nz.
