Another successful open day was held at Quantum Education Group’s international campus in Auckland recently. International students and educational consultants got the opportunity to visit Quantum Education’s Auckland Central campus, get to know our friendly staff and tutors, see how the school operates on a day-to-day basis and interact with current students from around the world studying towards their qualifications. With each open day, Quantum Education focuses on a particular study area which enables interested students to experience what time in the classroom is really like. English language was the focus this time, with free 45min English classes held in the morning. At Quantum Institute of English, we foster a friendly, relaxed learning environment with caring, professional tutors with the main aim of assisting you to communicate more effectively in English and that is what was portrayed in the free trial classes on offer at the open day.
During the afternoon, educational agents attended presentations on different aspects of Quantum’s hospitality, travel, tourism and professional counselling programmes.
Peter Ashford, who has over 40 years experience in the tourism and hotel industry and now teaches tourism and hotel management at Quantum Education gave a detailed overview about our unique Virgin Atlantic and Confederation of Tourism and Hospitality (CTH) programmes on offer.
Dinah Lennon from the New Zealand Institute of Professional Counselling gave attendees an insight into the Diploma of Professional Counselling (Level 6), pathways and work opportunities for this increasingly important profession.
The presentations were followed by a question and answer session, as well as drinks and nibbles, giving Quantum’s staff members and educational agents a chance for one-to-one discussions and catching up.
Quantum Education hold regular open days inviting everyone to come and get a taste of what they can experience when studying with us. For more information visit www.qegroup.co.nz
