New Zealand, and Auckland in particular, has seen an influx of ‘A’ list celebrities over the last six weeks but this week has seen the biggest celebrities, dignitaries and other famous faces arrive. All of them are here for the big final of the Rugby World Cup 2011 between France and New Zealand on Sunday. Among those landing on our shores is billionaire Richard Branson, Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco, as well as Hobbit film star James Nesbitt to name just a few.
British billionaire Sir Richard Branson and daughter Holly arrived in New Zealand a few days ago and have been seen around Auckland’s waterfront enjoying the atmosphere. Richard Branson has been reported as saying that he was “obviously hoping it would be England versus All Blacks in the final. France has been England's sporting enemy for generations so I'll be an All Blacks supporter on Sunday."
Sir Richard Branson, founder of the well-known Virgin Group, has just opened the world’s first commercial space-port and is also the founder of Virgin Atlantic Airways. The Virgin Atlantic/GTMC Fares and Ticketing Level 1 (VA1) and Level 2 (VA2) programmes were launched in 2003 and set the standard in manual fares and ticketing training for people who want to enhance their travel industry skills or to join the travel industry. Quantum Education is the only authorised provider in New Zealand for Virgin Atlantic/GTMC fares & ticketing training.
For more information on the Virgin Atlantic/GTMC fares and ticketing training at Quantum Institute of Tourism & Hospitality, visit www.qegroup.co.nz/travel/
From the team at Quantum Education, we want to wish the remaining 4 teams all the best for the bronze final and the final this weekend.
Go the All Blacks!
