Diploma in Advanced Hotel Management (Level 6)
Our unique Diploma in Advanced Hotel Management is offered in cooperation with the Confederation of Tourism & Hospitality (CTH). The qualification is endorsed by the Institute of Hospitality, the world’s leading membership body for managers in the hospitality, leisure and tourism industries. This course is designed to follow on from the Diploma in Hotel Management.
A CTH hotel management qualification prepares you for an incredible variety of career in the £3 trillion global hospitality industry. CTH qualified personnel are well-placed to build exciting and rewarding careers, whether working with a major global chain, a specialist ‘boutique’ hotel or developing your own hospitality-based private business.
During your studies, you will gain an understanding of the managerial, decision making and leadership aspects of the international hotel industry. The Level 6 course is also designed to develop independent research and study skills which will be required when working at senior managerial level in the industry. The training combines theory studies with practical workshops, guest lectures and field trips. In order to further enhance your training, we can also assist you with finding a work placement in an international hotel or resort.
Upon completion of the diploma, students gain a New Zealand (NZQA) qualification, as well as a British qualification. This qualification is equivalent to the second year of a British Bachelor’s Degree, giving students the opportunity to apply for direct entry into the third year of the Bachelor’s Degree at a number of universities around the globe.
